I voted for Hillary Clinton but

From Sterbal's Sundry Studies

I voted for Hillary Clinton in the general election in 2016. I am not enrolled in any party, so I wasn't able to vote in the primary in PA.

In many ways I was a single issue voter. My heart prefers the Supreme Court that Hillary would have selected versus having another 3 Samuel Alito's appointed to the bench.

Here are my buts on Hillary:

  • Early in her adult life she had investment gains of over 100,000 on a 10,000 investment and she thought that everyone was getting these kinds of returns in the market.
  • She treated Monica Lewinski poorly.
  • She thought she could relate to the poor and working class in the U.S. because when she leaving the White House she had temporary cash flow issues before earning tens of millions of dollars.
  • Her focus on the premature violent and accidental deaths has been sensational (she used her position to try to look good with the families) rather than policy driven
  • She gave speeches to special interest groups, and didn't clarify why she did that when she was running.
  • She took to long and blamed to many other people for her email problems. I don't buy her reasoning since it made her look too innocent.
  • She clearly got unfair help from a supporter regarding a question during the presidential debates.
