How to tune out for a bit

From Sterbal's Sundry Studies

Nancy S[edit]

  1. Work on your book
  2. Spend more time outdoors
  3. Visit cider tasting rooms or brew pubs more often with friends
  4. Play poker
  5. Have a potluck dinner
  6. With colored pencils and paper, have everyone at the table start to draw a picture. After two minutes, everyone passes the paper to their left and the next person adds to it. Keep going. You can do this with a story or poetry, too. (You can also do this online with a story or poetry, but it's more fun in person, with wine.)
  7. Take an older song you really like and see how many different versions of it you can find on YouTube
  8. Binge watch Californication on Netflix. This requires no information gathering (or even any brain power) and, if you appreciate that sort of humor, you will laugh your ass off.

That's all I can think of for now.
